Tuesday 8th October – Tournament Day Two – Castlerock Mussenden Course

Wednesday 9th October – Tournament Day Three – Ballycastle Golf Club & Presentation

Portstewart – Strand Course | Par 72 – 7118 Yards

The outstanding Championship Strand Course was the host for the 2017 Dubai Duty Free Irish Open. Jon Rahm, the 2017 Winner was certainly impressed, “the golf course is amazing. It’s probably one of the most beautiful golf courses I have ever seen, if not the most”.

What can be said of the mighty Strand Course? Dubbed as ‘the sleeping giant’, do you dare to tackle it! It is without doubt one of the very top true links golf courses in Ireland. It easily stands alongside the two Ulster Royals, Portrush and County Down.

Castlerock – Mussenden Course | Par 73 – 6780 Yards

Living in the shadow of its famous neighbours Portstewart & Royal Portrush, Castlerock Golf Club is every but as good, and will not disappoint. This is one of the toughest links courses around, with some exceptional holes. Place close to your handicap and you’re doing very well.

Castlerock as a seaside village located on the Causeway Coast. The Mussenden course (named after the nearby temple which is perch dramatically on the cliff edge) lies at the mouth of the River Bann where it meets the mighty Atlantic Ocean. On a clear day the Isle of Islay is visible to the north, and to the west, the rolling hills of Donegal.

Ballycastle Golf Club | Par 71 – 5899 Yards

Fast-flowing rivers, the steepest wooded hills, manicured greens and an ancient ruined abbey are just a few of the features that are sure to provide a pleasurable test for every golfer. It’s such a unique course it’s hardly surprising that Ballycastle Golf Course is seen as a hidden gem along the north coast.

Ballycastle Golf Club, founded in 1890, sits yards from the shoreline on the Causeway Coast, a spectacular stretch of golfing coastline of unsurpassed beauty. The golf course is one of the most scenic in Northern Ireland and has a multitude of personalities from lush and historic parkland holes to wild links offerings and includes holes carved out amongst undulating dunes and a back nine that launches you up into seaside hills that command panoramic views of the town of Ballycastle, Fair Head, Rathlin Island and on a clear day the Mull of Kintyre and some of the western isles of Scotland.

Marine Hotel Ballycastle

Marine Hotel Ballycastle, located on the Causeway Coast & Glens, we are one of the area’s finest hotels occupying an unrivalled seafront position. The Causeway Coast and Glens boasts some of the finest links and parkland courses on the island of Ireland. The Marine Hotel is ideally located for guests to enjoy the best of the provinces iconic courses, from Ballycastle Golf Club right outside our door, to Royal Portrush, Portstewart and Castlerock a short drive along our stunning coastline.
