Surrounded by natural foliage and panoramic mountain views, the rewarding and sometimes challenging 18-hole par 72 Graham Cooke course weaves alongside the village at the foothills of three recognizable ski mountains – Tod, Sundance, and Morrisey. The 6,400-yard course offers risk and reward opportunities that will appeal to every level of golfer. Bonuses of golfing at a higher elevation are that your ball flies longer and the mountain air provides relief from hotter summer temperatures; Sun Peaks is often 10 degrees cooler than nearby Kamloops.
The Sun Peaks Lodge with its 2 buildings is located in the heart of the village, with ski-in/ski-out access, just steps away from the 18-hole Golf Course and the chairlift for hiking and biking. All the village shops and restaurants are located directly outside the front door.
The hotel offers 70 units in total with 46 hotel rooms and 24 studios. All units offer renovated bathrooms with walk in rain showers, eco sciences collection amenities, hair dryer, flat screen televisions with Optik TV, comfortable duvets, hotel fridge, safe, phone, coffee maker with complimentary coffee/tea, kettle and iron/ironing board. The studios are all located in our studio building, adjacent the main building. All studios are extensively renovated and offer a kitchenette.
The hotel offers free wireless internet, an internet station and a comfortable seating area in the lobby by the fireplace. Hotel amenities included during the ski season: renovated wellness area with hot tub, sauna and steam room in the main building, ski storage room with waxing table and year round massage services.
