The Old Course
The Old Course, opened in 1999 is one of the courses dedicated for you to enjoy and improve your technique in the best facilities. Designed by Roland Favré, this 18-hole PAR 71 course has hosted such important championships as the Spanish PGA in 2006 and the Senior and Femino Spanish Championships in 2001.
Since the summer of 2022, David William’s masterplan has been implemented, an experienced golf course architect and authority in Europe, who is in charge of the renovation of the OLD course.
The New Course
The new course was built in 2008 and renovated with new tees in 2018. Designed by Ron Kirby, the course has evolved over the past few years.
In October 2018 it was introduced the new concept TEE IT FORWARD by the PGA of America which encourages all golfers to play the course at a length that is aligned with their average driving distance. Golfers can speed up play by utilizing tees that provide the greatest playability and enjoyment.
According to the master plan of David Williams: experienced golf course architect and a referent in Europe, who is in charge of the NEW course’s renovation, one of the main goals of Salobre Golf’s Master Plan is the sustainability of its courses.
Furthermore, a better overall experience as well as a more challenging game for experienced golfers is expected with these new improvements. 9 holes with PAR 36 which can be combined with the OLD Course offering 3 different golf circuits.
