There are four amazing golf courses very close by to this gorgeous hotel.
The Berkshire – 4.8 miles
Founded in 1928, The Berkshire Golf Club is home to two Herbert Fowler designed courses, both of which are widely regarded as amongst the best in the British Isles.
Sunningdale – 2 miles
There are many clubs, both ancient and modern, that are lucky enough to have two courses; courses that compliment one another, one perhaps more difficult, one easier, one for fourballs at the weekend, one for singles, one maybe long and wide open, one short but narrow. Few though would argue that Sunningdale’s pair are as fine a set of thirty six holes as you’ll find anywhere.
West Hill – 8.5 miles
West Hill is one of the best known courses in Surrey and has consistently featured in the top 100 golf course listings. This stunning heathland course, designed in 1909, is lined with towering Scots pines and beautiful but treacherous heather.
Walton Heath – 25 miles
Walton Heath is one of the world’s most highly regarded golf clubs, famous for its rich golfing and political history and the quality of its two exceptionally challenging heathland layouts, described by Jack Nicklaus as “wonderfully pure.” Both courses feature in the UK and Ireland’s Top 50 rankings. The Old has earned its place in the World’s Top 100 every year since the inception of the rankings in 1938.
