Trump Turnberry, The Ailsa. Home of four Open Championships, the legendary Ailsa course has hosted some of the most iconic names in golf. Named after the third Marquess of Ailsa, who owned the land on which it was built, this par-71, 6,474-yard Championship course is one of golf’s storied places. Reborn in June 2016 at the hands of renowned architect, Martin Ebert, the transformation makes the Ailsa the number-one ranked golf course in the UK & Ireland (Golf Monthly, 2019). Set alongside the glorious Ayrshire coastline, with Arran and Ailsa Craig as a stunning backdrop, it is one of the finest golfing destinations in the world

Trump Turnberry, King Robert The Bruce. On 28th June 2017, Eric F. Trump officially opened Trump Turnberry’s newest golf course, the magnificent King Robert the Bruce, in a Grand Opening Ceremony attended by a selection of VIP guests and members. The golf course near Glasgow is named after the King of Scotland, Robert the Bruce, the historical warrior who led Scotland to claim its right as an independent country in the Battle of Bannockburn in June 1314. He was born in July 1274 in Turnberry Castle. The Turnberry Lighthouse now stands amongst the ruins of this medieval castle. Martin Ebert, responsible for the reborn Ailsa, had been commissioned to create what is a stunning sibling to the legendary Ailsa course. This world-class Scotland golf course and experience thrills golfers of all abilities. Distinctive bunkering, visually attractive wetland areas, and swathes of gorse all add to the exciting challenges of this great links course. This 18-hole course has a par of 72, and, has 5 par 3 holes, a characteristic shared with the new Ailsa Course. Breathtaking vistas from the 8th 9th, 10th, and 11th delight golfers, with spectacular views of Turnberry’s stunning coastline, castle ruins, and the lighthouse.

Trump International Golf Links & Hotel Ireland, Doonbeg. Offering views of the Atlantic from 16 of 18 holes, the newly redesigned golf course at Trump International Golf Links Ireland is a stunning sight to behold. The average time taken for a round of golf is four hours and thirty minutes. The par-72 layout features a single loop of nine holes out and nine back, playing 7,026 yards from the back tees. Designed with the philosophy of ‘least disturbance’, the most natural route was taken in laying the course out through the sand dunes. As a result, the golf course in Ireland has an unusual combination of five par 3s and five par 5s. The speed and direction of the wind cause consistent daily variations in play. However, to help players perfect their game, golf instruction is available for both individuals and groups throughout the year with our resident golf professional.
