Designed by Frank Pennink and opened in 1969, The Old Course winds its way through beautiful mature pine trees, with rolling fairways, strategic bunkering and a layout that rewards accuracy and good course management. A classic Algarve golfing experience and a must-play when staying in Vilamoura.
Pinhal Golf Course
Another classic Vilamoura layout, Pinhal combines tree-lined fairways with plenty of elevation changes and strategically positioned hazards. Originally designed by Frank Pennink and later refined by Robert Trent Jones Sr., it is a course where positioning from the tee is often more important than distance. A really enjoyable test of golf with plenty of character.
Millennium Golf Course
Millennium offers a slightly more forgiving experience while still providing plenty of challenge. The course combines open fairways with a particularly attractive tree-lined section, while lakes come into play on several holes, including the closing stretch. Its variety and playability make Millennium popular with golfers of all abilities.
Laguna Golf Course
Laguna offers something quite different from Vilamoura’s more traditional tree-lined courses. With a more open, links-style feel, numerous water hazards and strategically positioned bunkers, accuracy and course management are key. Its exposed nature also means the Algarve breeze can play its part, making Laguna an entertaining and very different challenge.
