Personal data we collect
We will only collect relevant data to enable us to carry out the service you have requested or accessed, below we have set out in more detail about the personal data we collect and why we collect it. We review our retention periods regularly and will only hold your data for as long as it is necessary for the original purpose it was collected for, as required by law or as set out in any relevant contract we have with you.
If you enquire about one of our Golfing events or promotions or offers we may require your name, address, email address post code and contact telephone number to able us to respond to your enquiry. We will contact you by sending an email asking for your permission to add your details such as name, address, email address post code and contact telephone number to our database so that we could stay in touch with you to keep you up to date with our latest events promotions or offers.
If you enter one of our competitions, we will require additional information from you regarding current playing handicap. This information would be gathered by telephone or email and added to the personal information that we carry for you. Handicaps must be current and checkable through the CDH system.
Contact by phone
Should you call Golfing Days about one of our events products or services we will ask for your permission to add you to our database and we may record your name, address, email address post code and contact telephone number to able us to respond to your enquiry. If after obtaining your verbal consent we would then send you by email a marketing preference consent form allowing you to opt in to us sending you details of events products or services.
How we may use your personal data

Golfing Days uses your personal data for contacting our clients via email, text message, post or telephone with offers, services and other related products. You have the right to opt out of receiving promotional communication at any time by; • Changing your preference by selecting the ‘Unsubscribe’ link located at the bottom of each of our emails. • Text STOP in response to a text message. •

Golfing Days will not share your personal Data with any third parties it will be used for obtaining necessary contact with our clients with regards to Golfing Events Promotions, products and offers.

Where we rely on your consent as the legal basis for processing your personal information and you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) If you withdraw your consent, our use of your personal information before you withdraw is still lawful.
